USL sends 2nd batch of students for professional exposure program in Thailand

The University of Saint Louis (USL) successfully sent a second cohort of students for an international professional exposure program in Phuket, Thailand.

On April 25, 2024, a total of 25 students representing three programs—17 from the Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management (BSTM), 5 from the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration major in Financial Management (BSBA-FM), and 3 from the Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management (BSHM) program—left the Philippines for this great opportunity. These students will gain valuable practical experience at the Pullman Phuket Archadia Karon Beach Resort.

Previously, USL sent the first batch, comprising 12 fourth-year Bachelor of Science majoring in Tourism Management students, to Novotel Phuket Vintage Park Resort in Phuket, Thailand, on April 4, 2024, for their professional exposure abroad.

The Professional Exposure Program serves as a transitional phase from the students’ role as full-time students to their future role as professionals in their respective fields. This program upholds USL’s commitment to internationalization, empowering students with various real-world business experiences, cultural immersion, networking, and personal growth.

This Professional Exposure Program is part of the Memorandum of Agreement signed between the University of Saint Louis and St. Andrews Educational Services, the service provider.
