The University of Saint Louis – School of Education, Criminology, Arts and Psychology (USL-SECAP) celebrated the achievements of 31 students from the Political Science with Legal Studies Program during the Pinning and Coating Ceremony held on September 9, 2024.

The ceremony, a hallmark in the academic journey of the students, was conducted at the St. Aloysius Chapel, in the presence of proud parents, university administrators, faculty, and staff.

The Pinning and Coating Ceremony is a tradition that marks the students’ formal induction into the legal field, symbolizing their commitment to the pursuit of justice and service to society. As each student received their pin and coat, the atmosphere was filled with a profound sense of accomplishment, pride, and hope for the future.

An inspirational message was delivered by Mr. Manuel C. Baricaua, LLB, Officer-in-Charge and Regional Director of the Land Transportation Office, Region 2. In his address, Mr. Baricaua shared words of wisdom, urging the students to remain steadfast in their principles and to approach their legal careers with integrity, compassion, and a deep sense of responsibility.

Meanwhile, parents of Batch Amicus Curiae beamed with pride as they watched their children take a significant step toward their future careers.

As the ceremony concluded, the values of justice, honor, and service emphasized throughout the event will undoubtedly guide them as they continue their studies and eventually enter the legal community.
