USL Medical Technology Students Board for International Internship in Thailand

15 Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology students from the University of Saint Louis (USL) flew to Thailand on June 16, 2024, to participate in a professional exposure program. This initiative marks a significant step in the university’s efforts toward internationalization.

The select students were Princess Victoria Cadeliña, Mary Angelie Cristobal, John Paul Dian, Jim Hadley Domingo, Kristine Joy Licayu, Aubrey Lorraine Massalang, Anakin Jem Felixnel Ocampo, Maria Chaelyanne Pader, Milka Sofia Pascua, Maivelyn Somejo, Jasmine Soriano, Stephanie Jane Telmo, Llory Mae Tolentino, Reishelle Tumbaga, and Charity Mae Turaray. They are accompanied by Ms. Vivian Kristel Licayu, a Med Tech instructor at the University. 

The students will be interning at Huachiew Chalermprakiet University for a duration of 29 days. This program aims to provide them with invaluable hands-on experience in medical technology, broadening their academic and professional horizons through exposure to diverse healthcare practices and advanced laboratory techniques in a global setting.

The collaboration with Huachiew Chalermprakiet University reflects USL’s dedication to fostering international partnerships and providing students with opportunities to learn from and contribute to the global medical community.
