Tuguegarao City Gov’t hosts Aggao Nac Kabataan-Youth Forum 2026 at USLT

Tuguegarao City celebrates International Youth Day through the Aggao Nac Kabataan-Youth Forum 2026 on Wednesday, August 12, at the James Ter Meer Gymnasium, bringing together young leaders in a shared commitment to empowering responsible, transformative youth.


Hosted by the City Government of Tuguegarao through the Local Youth Development Office (LYDO), the forum gathers student leaders from higher education institutions, senior high schools, youth organizations, the Local Youth Development Council, and community-based youth organizations throughout the city.


As International Youth Day takes center stage, the Aggao Nac Kabataan-Youth Forum 2026 highlights Tuguegarao City’s ongoing commitment to nurturing young leaders who are not only active in their respective organizations but also responsible and responsive members of the community.


The forum affirms that youth have an important role in shaping the present and future of Tuguegarao City. Through leadership, participation, and collaboration, they continue to become partners in building a more empowered and transformative community.


Through initiatives that empower young people and strengthen youth leadership, USLT advances Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education) by providing learning opportunities that develop responsible, capable young leaders. At the same time, it contributes to Sustainable Development Goal 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) by strengthening collaboration with government institutions and youth organizations in implementing programs that foster meaningful participation and create positive impact in the community.
