Three CICM novices embark on community exposure at USL

The Louisian community warmly welcomes three novices from the Congregation of the Immaculate Heart of Mary (CICM) for a two-week community exposure in an academic school setting. The group includes Brother Christopher Geraldo Pare from Makassar, Indonesia; Brother Roberto Obe from Taraja, Indonesia; and Brother Tedgilbert Pabito from Estancia, Iloilo.

Currently undergoing formation at the CICM Formation House in Taytay, Rizal, they have been deeply influenced by the examples of CICM priests in their respective parishes, leading them to answer the call to a life of service and mission.

Brother Geraldo began his journey toward priesthood during his Senior High School years, driven by a strong desire to serve God in various places. He is now in the eighth year of his formation. Meanwhile, after teaching in a classroom for two years, Brother Robert is determined to dedicate his life to the CICM and has spent three years as a novice.

Inspired by interactions with former seminarians, Brother Bert pursued his vocation and is now in his second year of novitiate. Throughout their stay in the city, the novices will immerse themselves in the Louisian community, gaining experience serving in an academic environment. Additionally, their exposure aspires to strengthen their commitment to becoming future shepherds of Christ. The Louisian community embraces this chance to support and witness the journey of the novices as they continue their track toward fulfilling their religious calling.

Thank you, brothers, for visiting the University of Saint Louis. The Louisian community continues to pray that you will obtain your religious vocation for the Catholic community. Enjoy your stay with us.
