The School of Health and Allied Sciences (SHAS) celebrated their departmental week in an exciting week-long festivity held on January 20-24, 2025.
With the theme “Wings and Whispers: Soaring Ambitions and the Quiet Guidance from the Realm of Health Allied Sciences,” the SHAS community enjoyed a hunger games-inspired celebration and featured contested activities across multiple categories, including sports, literary, visual, socio-cultural, and special events.
In one of their notable activities, SHAS partnered with Barangay Centro 11 for their mural painting event, which exemplified their advocacy to raise awareness and promote the importance of health and nutrition in the community. SHAS also crowned their new Ambassador and Ambassadress, with Carl Justine D. Santiago (District Lamina) and Prench Cyzla A. Aquino (District Verdalia) winning the titles, respectively.
District Verdalia emerged as the champion, followed by District Lamina, placing 1st runner-up, and District Thalassia settling for 2nd runner-up.
USLT’s departmental week for college departments allowed students to showcase their talents and abilities, giving them a break from their academic responsibilities and an opportunity to bond with fellow students.
