Management Accounting students recognized in coating, pinning ceremony

The university’s 4th-year Management Accounting students received recognition during their Coating, Pinning, and Candle Lighting Ceremony held on January 7, 2025, at the Good Shepherd Chapel in anticipation of their upcoming internship.


The 121 students were presented with symbolic coats and pins, denoting their readiness to commence their internship, equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge. 


A Eucharistic Mass presided over by Rev. Fr. John Mark D. Barroga, CICM, VP For Mission and Identity/University Chaplain, commenced the celebration, followed by the ceremony led by Dr. Luisa B. Aquino, VP for Academics, and Dr. Rizza V. Ramos, Academic Dean, School of Accountancy, Business, and Hospitality. The students also held a tribute to their parents in appreciation of their support for their education.


The ceremony exemplifies the students’ commitment to their academic and professional development and their readiness to take on the challenges of their internships. It also reflects the university’s commitment to producing professionals who are well-prepared for the industry.
