The University of Saint Louis Tuguegarao (USLT) community gathered in a Eucharistic celebration on March 5, 2025, in observance of Ash Wednesday.
Throughout the day, USLT held a series of Eucharistic masses in the Good Shepherd Chapel, led by Fr. Aaron Beltran, Fr. Jess Taliping, Fr. Jomar Castañeda, and Fr. Rino Guaring.
In the Eucharistic mass presided over by Fr. Castañeda, he reminded the faithful community of not receiving the name of God in vain. He gave a reminder to uphold the reverence and sanctity of invoking the name of God, emphasizing the need for genuine reverence and respect in all religious practices.
Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of the Lenten Season, a 40-day journey of prayer, reflection, and repentance. The observance serves as a time for spiritual renewal and preparation for the Easter season among the faithful.
