Another milestone! The University of Saint Louis Tuguegarao (USLT) has received distinction from the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) for outstanding international recognition, following its placement at 274th place among the Global Top 300 Innovative Universities in the 2024 World University Rankings for Innovation (WURI).
Rev. Fr. Macwayne N. Maniwang, CICM, Ph.D., University President, and Dr. Darin Jan C. Tindowen, Senior Director of the University Research and Innovation Office, accepted the award during the 2024 CHED Internationalization Champions of Nation-Building and Sustainability (ICONS) Awards held at the Philippine International Convention Center on December 16, 2024.
The Certificate of Commendation celebrates the university’s notable contributions to the higher education sector, its commitment towards internationalization of Philippine higher education, and its outstanding performance in a global ranking system.
In line with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education), the achievement reflects the university’s continuous efforts to uphold high standards in education and its contribution to the global academic community.
