The second batch deployment of Grade 12 Immersion students from the sections St. Lucy of Rome, St. Barbara of Heliopolis, St. Brigid of Kildare, and St. Victoria of Cordoba signifies another milestone in the school’s commitment to providing hands-on learning experiences. This initiative began on October 11, 2024, and will take place over two weeks, concluding on October 24, 2024. Led by the Immersion Area Head and with the support of dedicated immersion teachers and other Basic Education School (BES) faculty, students are now stationed in their respective immersion sites to make use of the theories acquired in class to real-world environments.
The Immersion program aims to expose students to industry practices, enhance their professional skills, and prepare them for future careers. Students from the HumSS, ABM, and STEM NH strands are expected to engage with their respective fields, gaining invaluable insights and practical experiences from private and public agencies, particularly in Regional Government Offices, Public School Institutions, Bank Financial Institutions, Leasing and Finance Corporations, Hotels and Restaurants, and Broadcasting and Media Production Company in Tuguegarao City.
The university extends its gratitude to the partner agencies for their unwavering support in providing quality learning opportunities. Their contributions are instrumental in shaping the students’ future, bridging the gap between education and industry.
In alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), this initiative emphasizes the importance of quality education (SDG 4) and decent work and economic growth (SDG 8). By actively participating in real-world immersion experiences, students not only enhance their learning but also contribute to sustainable development in their communities.
To the Immersion students, embrace this opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive. Your journey begins now!
