In celebration of the Holy Rosary Month, the Accountancy, Business, and Management (ABM) Area of the Basic Education School led a spiritual pilgrimage to the Basilica Minore of Our Lady of Piat in Piat, Cagayan. Grade 11 ABM students embarked on this meaningful journey on October 5, 2024, followed by Grade 12 ABM students on October 12, 2024.
During their visit, both groups attended a holy mass, reflected on the mysteries of the Holy Rosary, and explored the basilica grounds. The students prayed at the Shrine of Our Lady of Piat, seeking Mother Mary’s intercession, lit candles, and purchased blessed religious items. The masses were presided over by Rev. Fr. Glendo P. Pattaguan for the 11th graders and Rev. Fr. Clifford J. Dalingay for the 12th graders.
This pilgrimage aligns with USL’s core value of Christian living, emphasizing the importance of faith in our educational journey. It provides moments of reflection and prayer, deepening their faith and offering a renewed sense of spiritual purpose, specifically to the ABM team. Truly, it was a blessed and unforgettable experience for all participants.
