The Basic Education School (BES) of the University of Saint Louis Tuguegarao (USLT) held its Grade 11 Inter-Set Zumba Competition from September 30 to October 1, 2026, at the Main Campus Open Field.
Organized under the Life and Career Skills Area of the Senior High School Unit, the two-day competition required full-section participation. Each section showcased its creativity, coordination, and teamwork through Zumba routines.
Preparing for the competition also gave students an opportunity to practice leadership and communication as they worked together to create and rehearse their routines. Balancing rehearsals with their regular schoolwork helped them develop discipline, time management, and stronger relationships with their classmates.
The activity supported Sustainable Development Goal 3 (Good Health and Well-Being) by encouraging physical activity and promoting healthy habits among students. It also contributed to Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education) by providing opportunities for students to develop teamwork, communication, discipline, and other life skills beyond the classroom.
