USLT holds General Assembly for employees, unveils Vision 2031

The University of Saint Louis Tuguegarao (USLT) holds its General Assembly cum Fireside Chat today, August 5, 2026 at the James Ter Meer Gymnasium, serving as a day of dialogue and strategic alignment as the university embarks on a new academic year.


The program opens with the opening remarks of Marie Rose P. Mora, DBM, Vice President for Administration and Human Resource. A highlight of the gathering is the University President’s Address by Rev. Fr. Macwayne N. Maniwang, CICM, Ph.D., which presents the university’s accomplishments for School Year 2025–2026 and outlines his thrust for School Year 2026–2027, setting the direction for the Louisian community in the year ahead.


Also taking center stage is the Fireside Chat with the University President, providing faculty and staff representatives an opportunity to engage in meaningful dialogue on matters relevant to the institution’s continued growth and development.


A key highlight of the program is the launching of Vision 2031, signaling a new chapter in the university’s strategic journey as USLT builds on the accomplishments of its 2021–2026 Strategic Plan and sets the direction for its next phase of institutional growth and transformation.


Guided by a shared vision for the future, the General Assembly strengthens collaboration, transparency, and strategic leadership across the university community, advancing Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4 (Quality Education) through a culture of continuous improvement and SDG 16 (Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions) by promoting effective, accountable, and participatory institutional governance.
