The University of Saint Louis Tuguegarao (USLT) proudly congratulates the Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants (JPIA) for their distinctive achievements at the National Mid-Year Convention 2026 held from February 12 to 15, 2026, at Club Balai Isabel in Talisay, Batangas.
Eloisa Marie B. Apostol earned Second Place in the 6th Samuel Misa Cup I Freshmore Face Off. The competition began with 41 participants and was narrowed down to only 10 finalists. Through consistent excellence and strong command of foundational concepts, Apostol emerged as First Runner-Up.
Likewise, Raphael Luis G. Inovero demonstrated exceptional competence in taxation and general accounting knowledge. Out of 32 participants in the 6th Samuel Misa Cup III Tax Compliance, he advanced to the finals after a rigorous selection process. In addition, he was recognized as a Finalist in the 18th National Accounting Quiz Showdown (NAQDOWN).
Meanwhile, Fritzie Mae Ruzhel D. Guimbayan represented the institution as a National Participant, exemplifying dedication and confidence in a highly competitive academic environment.
Through these accomplishments, the Louisian JPIAns have once again affirmed the university’s commitment to academic excellence and professional formation. Their achievements show discipline, perseverance, and the strength of Louisian training in accountancy education. The entire academic community celebrates their success and wishes them continued growth in their future professional endeavors.
