The University of Saint Louis Tuguegarao (USLT) continues to celebrate the success stories of its alumni who embody faith, perseverance, and service in their chosen fields. One of them is Mr. Carlo T. Santiago, a 1995 graduate of the Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, who now serves as President of Masstock Vet Marketing Corporation and several other business ventures based in the Province of Rizal. His enterprises include Masstock Laboratories, Masstock Forwarding, MS Supermarket, and Santiago Private Resort, among others.
Mr. Santiago’s Santiago Private Resort in Quisao, Pililla, Rizal recently hosted the Recollection and RNR Activities of USLT employees from October 23 to 25, 2025. Hosting this meaningful event was a proud moment for him, as it symbolized his continued connection to his alma mater and his desire to give back to the university that shaped his character and faith.
His journey to success began with humble beginnings. As a child, Carlo would wake up before dawn with his mother to pick vegetables and sell them in the market. These early experiences taught him the value of hard work, sacrifice, and perseverance, principles that remained with him throughout his life.
After finishing his studies through the Study Now, Pay Later Program at USLT, Mr. Santiago began his career as a Desk Clerk III at El Tigre Security in 1996. He later discovered his passion for sales and entered the field of veterinary products, where he progressed from Technical Sales Representative to District Sales Manager, then National Sales Manager, and ultimately, Vice President. His perseverance and dedication led him to establish his own companies, providing employment opportunities and services to many communities.
During his years at USLT, he also served as a sacristan and ROTC Corps Commander, roles that strengthened his sense of discipline, leadership, and responsibility. He credits the university for instilling in him the values of integrity, faith, and determination.
Today, Carlo Santiago lives in Antipolo City with his children, Kobie and Ma. Vilma, cherishing the memory of his late wife, Vilma Santiago.
Despite his many accomplishments, he remains humble and grounded in his faith. Mr. Santiago believes that success is not measured by wealth or position but by faith in God and perseverance in life’s challenges. “Success is not achieved by talent or luck alone, but through hard work and faith,” he shared.
Guided by his lifelong principle, “Work Hard + Pray Hard,” Carlo Santiago continues to be a true Louisian, living out the values of his alma mater in every endeavor. His story is a reminder that with faith, humility, and determination, every challenge can become a stepping stone to success.
