Three Grade 10 students from the University of Saint Louis Tuguegarao – Junior High School (USLT-JHS) emerged as champions in the 15th Inter-High School Quiz Bee organized by the University of Cagayan Valley (UCV) as part of its 77th Founding Anniversary, held on September 27, 2025.
The said competition was held among eight private and public junior high schools in Tuguegarao City. Notably, the winning team was composed of Adrian Gabrielle A. Daguio, Charice Faye M. Trinidad, and Matthew D. Maiztegui from Grade 10–Jose Rizal, all of whom were under the guidance of their coach, Mr. Darwin B. Caronan. The contest covered a wide range of subjects, including Science, Mathematics, Grammar, Literature, and Current Events.
Furthermore, this victory marks a back-to-back championship for USLT-JHS in the Inter-High School Quiz Bee. As a result, the achievement not only highlights the students’ hard work but also affirms the school’s tradition of excellence and commitment to academic distinction.
