The School of Education, Criminology, Arts and Psychology (SECAP) conducted the 3rd Pinning Ceremony of senior Criminology students on September 2, 2025, at the Bishop Constant Jurgens Campus (BCJC) Audio-Visual Room.
A total of 35 students from Batch Mabalawis took part in the ceremony, which marked their formal recognition as they continue their academic and professional journey in criminology.
Notably, PLTCOL Darwin John B. Urani, Chief of Police of the Tuguegarao Component City Police Station (TCCPS), served as the guest speaker and delivered a motivational message that inspired the students to embrace their calling with commitment, discipline, and service to the community.
The highlight of the program was the pinning and donning of ranks, which was facilitated by PLTCOL Urani, Dr. Luisa B. Aquino, VP for Academics, Dr. Herbert S. Corpuz, SECAP and School of Advanced Studies (SAS) Dean, and Dr. Liza M. Empedrad, SECAP/SAS Associate Dean.
As a gesture of gratitude, the student honorees also presented tokens of appreciation to their parents, acknowledging their support throughout their academic journey.
