The University of Saint Louis Tuguegarao (USLT) proudly congratulates grade school pupils, Real Achibrandt O. Canay and Calix Jacob C. Dueñas, for emerging as champions in the Interschool TECH QUEST: Robotics and Rubik’s Challenge for Academia, held on August 15, 2025, at SM City Tuguegarao, organized by the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT).
Canay, under the guidance of his coach, Mr. James Michael Gassmen, successfully achieved the championship title in the Robotics Elementary Category. Concurrently, Dueñas, mentored by Mr. Arnel B. Maggay, triumphed by securing the championship title in the Rubik’s Cube Elementary Category.
The competition gathered young learners from various schools to showcase their skills in robotics and Rubik’s cube solving, fostering creativity, critical thinking, and innovation among students.
USLT commends Canay and Dueñas for their incredible triumph, which reflects the university’s mission to nurture excellence, ingenuity, and competitive spirit even at an early age. Their victories also highlight the dedication and guidance of their coaches, whose mentorship played a vital role in this success.
