Seven Political Science students from the University of Saint Louis Tuguegarao (USLT) recently commenced their internship at the Senate of the Philippines.
Raymark B. Reyes, Cynthia Joy M. Hassan, Isaac A. Palattao, Dolph Christian P. Battung, Jared Kel D. Pascual, Kristine D. Piga, and Genpsy B. Pacada, specializing in Legal Studies, will experience first hand exposure to the legislative process and legal frameworks within the Senate.
USLT’s internship program is instrumental in complementing their academic learning and equipping them with practical experience and necessary skills for future careers in governance, law, and policy-making.
The program also exemplifies the university’s commitment to providing quality education, aligning to UN’s SDG 4 (Quality Education) and SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth).
