USLT-NTP holds INSET program

The University of Saint Louis Tuguegarao’s (USLT) In-Service Training (INSET) program provided knowledge enrichment to its non-teaching personnel (NTP) in a lecture held on January 16-17, 2025, at the N6 Hall.


NTP were equipped with essential knowledge in areas relevant to their roles, facilitated by distinguished USLT professionals.


During the morning session on January 16, 2025, Ms. Ma. Carina Victoria M. Catuaan, MBA, BA Department Head, tackled important organizational skills, followed by a lecture on effective stress management by Mr. Benedict B. Zulueta, RPM, Psychology Department Faculty.


The afternoon session featured lessons on effective business writing and client service excellence by Mr. Christian L. Dulin, LPT, Teacher Education Department Faculty, and Mr. Jaycee M. Deza, BES Guidance Head, respectively. Additionally, Mr. Francis Eric F. Necesia, RN, OSH, CIGS Director, discussed the workplace implementation of the 5S, or good housekeeping, which involves the principle of waste elimination through workplace organization.


The next day, Mr. Jenikko L. Quinto, College Guidance Associate, and Mrs. Lily Ann B. Dela Cruz, MST, Information Technology Education Department Head, continued the INSET, exploring topics on diplomatic communication and professionalism and information technology literacy, respectively.


The INSET program covered a range of subjects directly relevant to the daily responsibilities of NTP, boosting their professional development and elevating their contributions to the Louisian community.


This initiative reflects USLT’s commitment to the continual growth and empowerment of all its employees and aligns with UN’s SDG Goal 3 (Good Health and Well-Being) and Goal 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth).
