The University of Saint Louis Tuguegarao (USLT) congratulates Melvie T. Mabbonag, MAEd-TEM, the Technology and Livelihood Education (TLE) Area Head of the Basic Education School (BES), for obtaining the prestigious title of “Most Outstanding Head Teacher in EPP, TLE, and TVL Education” in the 3rd Philippine Organization for TLE and TVL Educators, Inc. (POTTE) Gawad Parangal sa Natatanging Guro 2024, held at Cebu Technological University Gymnasium, Cebu City, on December 6 to 8, 2024.
The event was part of the 6th POTTE National Convention, centered on “Tech-Voc for Lifelong Learning: Trends and Updates in Teaching Home Economics, ICT, Industrial Arts, and Agri-fishery Arts.”
Annually, educational professionals from various categories, such as principals, head teachers, and master teachers, are recognized with the POTTE Gawad Parangal sa Natatanging Guro for their outstanding management, leadership, and instructional abilities in technical and vocational education.
The event was organized in collaboration with Cebu Technological University and hosted by the Philippine Continuing Professional Development Training Center, Inc.
Mabbonag’s achievement marked another remarkable milestone for the BES and the Louisian community, reflecting their commitment to excellence in education and professional responsibility.
