SECAP successfully holds color fun run

Students, faculty, and staff of the School of Education, Criminology, Arts, and Psychology (SECAP) enlivened the streets with their enthusiasm as they successfully held a Color Fun Run with a Cause on October 6, 2024.

The activity kicked off with Zumba as a warm-up, followed by the fun run participated in by 161 registered runners. The route commenced at the USL Main Campus and went to Bombo Radyo, then along Gunnacao Street and Cataggaman Road before returning to USL-Lecaros.

Subsequently, runners and attendees gathered for a salu-salo to replenish and foster connection with each other. The runners also received inclusions for their participation, which included tote bags, waterproof wristbands, bottled water, and snacks and meals.

The fun run sought to bring together members of the Louisian community who advocate for health and fitness, as well as to create an environment of fellowship and celebration. Proceeds from the event will benefit SECAP’s talents as the university celebrates its 60th founding anniversary next year.
