Louisian college students reflect and reconnect

As part of its commitment to holistic education, the University of Saint Louis, through its Campus Ministry Office, facilitated a series of recollections among 4th- and 5th-year college students, held from September 23-27, 2024. The event provided an opportunity for participants to deepen their relationship with God and reflect on their personal and spiritual journeys.

Over a thousand students from various departments participated, guided by the recollection master, Rev. Fr. Rene Cabag, CICM, Vice-Provincial, CICM Philippine Province. He led the students through meaningful discussions, prayer sessions, and personal reflections, creating a space for them to explore their inner selves and connect with the divine.

The recollection served as a timely reminder of the value of spirituality in daily life, reinforcing the university’s mission to cultivate not just intellectual growth but also spiritual and emotional well-being.

More recollection activities are being prepared for other students and employees, ensuring that the spirit of reflection and connection with God continues throughout the university.
