Congratulations to the Basic Education School (BES) – Junior High School (JHS) and Senior High School (SHS) for successfully passing the accreditation during the re-survey visit and formal survey visit, respectively by the Philippine Accrediting Association of Schools, Colleges and Universities (PAASCU).
JHS is granted a re-accreditation status for a five-year period, valid until August 2029 by PAASCU. With this, the department is now eligible for a Level III re-accreditation status by the Federation of Accrediting Agencies of the Philippines (FAAP).
Meanwhile, SHS is granted an initial three-year accreditation, valid until August 2027, qualifying the department for Level I accreditation status by FAAP.
The said visits took place on April 22-23, 2024.
PAASCU is a service organization that accredits or quality assures academic programs of its member schools and does institutional accreditation. On the other hand, FAAP is authorized by the Commission on Higher Education and the Department of Education to review, approve, and certify the accrediting decisions made by the accrediting agencies to grant progressive deregulation and other benefits.
This shows the institution’s ongoing quality education and commitment to PAASCU’s high standards, marking an important step as the program keeps aiming for excellence in providing well-rounded education to its students.
