4 Louisian educators achieve CSS certification as accredited statisticians

In a notable accomplishment for our academic community, Erovita Teresita B. Agustin, DME, Jennifer C. Bangi, MARS, Jenalyn M. Crayo, LPT, and Marie Jean N. Mendezabal, DME, have all passed the Certified Statistician Specialist (CSS) examination.


The certification was awarded on August 10, 2024, following a detailed preparation process that included an extensive series of lectures from July 16 to 27, 2024.

Dr. Agustin, the Mathematics Area Head; Ms. Bangi, the Head of the CSIER department; Ms. Crayo, the Mathematics Department Head; and Dr. Mendezabal, the Senior Director of SMQAA, each demonstrated dedication to their professional growth by undertaking this challenging certification process. Their commitment involved not only rigorous preparation but also a deep engagement with advanced statistical methodologies.

The Certified Statistician Specialist (CSS) credential, awarded by the Visionary Research Association in collaboration with the Visionary Training Center and officially registered with the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines (IPOPHL), signifies a high level of expertise in the field of statistics. The attainment of this certification marks the excellence and competence of the involved faculty members through rigorous processes, such as attending lecture series, completing assessments, and showcasing their ability to apply statistical techniques effectively.

The CSS certification reflects their thorough training and readiness to apply their advanced skills in their professional roles.
