USL alumna is Presidential Lingkod Bayan Awardee

Louisian Pride! Due to his dedication and service, Mr. Michael A. Pinto, a Louisian graduate, was awarded as one of the regional winners of the Presidential Lingkod Bayan Award (Individual Category) during the 2023 Parangal at Pasasalamat Regional Recognition Rites hosted by the Civil Service Commission (CSC).

Mr. Pinto entered the halls of USL in 1999 and earned his undergraduate degree in 2003. He was also part of the Louisian 2003 staff. After earning his undergraduate diploma in 2003, Mr. Pinto continued his pursuit of knowledge, showing his passion for lifelong learning. In 2008, he proudly added a post-graduate diploma to his list of accomplishments.

Today, he currently serves as the Provincial Librarian of Cagayan Valley, a role that requires not only a deep love for literature but also a commitment to serving the public.

As a testament to his exceptional contributions to public service, the CSC’s Presidential Lingkod Bayan Award noted Mr. Pinto’s dedication to promoting education and access to knowledge.
