Incoming Grade 11 Students graduating from Science High Schools or Science Sections are exempt from the Senior High School Entrance Examination and may proceed directly to pre-registration, subject to the eligibility requirements and verification of submitted documents.

Eligibility Requirements

• Applicants must have a General Weighted Average (GWA) of at least 80% and no failing grades in any subject or semester.
• Applicants must secure a certification from their School Principal confirming that they are graduating from a Science High School or a Science Section.

Pre-Registration Process

Step 1: Access the Registration Portal

• Visit registration.usl.edu.ph and log in using a valid personal email address (e.g., juandelacruz1234@gmail.com).

Step 2: Select the Application Level

• Choose Senior High School, then select Pre-registration (Incoming Grade 11).

Step 3: Complete Your Basic Information

• Fill out all required fields with accurate and complete personal information.

Step 4: Select Your Preferred Cluster

Choose your preferred Senior High School Cluster:

• Business and Entrepreneurship (BE)
• Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences (AHSS)
• Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics – Health (STEM-H)
• Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics – Non-Health (STEM-NH)

Step 5: Upload the Required Certification

• Upload a clear photo or scanned copy of the certification issued by your School Principal confirming your status as a graduating student from a Science High School or Science Section.

Step 6: Submit the Provided Application Information

• Review all the information you provided and click REGISTER to submit your application.

Step 7: Wait for Verification

• Allow three (3) working days for the verification of your submitted information and documents. Log in to registration.usl.edu.ph to check your application status.
• Once your application has been approved, your dashboard status will change to VERIFIED.

Step 8: Pay the Pre-Enrollment Fee

• Once your application status is VERIFIED, proceed to the Accounting Office to pay the ₱1,000 pre-enrollment fee. Please present your assigned ID Number when making the payment.

Step 9: Wait for the Official Enrollment Schedule

• Stay tuned for official announcements regarding the final enrollment dates and procedures. Please follow the University’s official communication channels for updates.

The Basic Education School (BES) of the University of Saint Louis Tuguegarao (USLT) held its Intramurals 2026 from October 24 to 29, featuring athletic competitions, literary events, visual arts contests, and socio-cultural performances under the theme “BES REALMS: A Legacy Beyond Victory.”

The five elemental realms, The Ferocious Tropheon, The Glacial Frostveil, The Ceaseless Aquariel, The Fierry Pyrren, and The Glaring Sundara, represented the talents and participation of learners across the school community. Inspired by the Louisian principles of Sapientia Aedificat (Wisdom Builds) and Cor Unum et Anima Una (One Heart and One Soul), the theme emphasized character, leadership, and camaraderie alongside achievement.

The activities began with preliminary preparations on October 23 and 24, including mother banner making, board games, and elimination matches in futsal, basketball, and volleyball. The official opening on October 26 featured a Eucharistic Celebration, field demonstration, parade of participants, literary events, and the Jumpstreet Competition.

On October 27, participants competed in track-and-field events at the Sports Complex, string-instrument solos, pop acappella, folk dances, and the Master Chef competition. The following day, October 28, featured oral literary contests, dancesports, the Master Baker challenge, and the Search for BES Ambassador and Ambassadress (BESAA) Coronation.

October 29 featured championship matches, the Battle of the Brains, the Grand Socio-Cultural Night, final vocal competitions, and the announcement of the overall winners.

After competing in various sports, literary, visual arts, socio-cultural, and special events, The Ferocious Tropheon emerged as the overall champion. The Glacial Frostveil placed first runner-up, followed by The Ceaseless Aquariel as second runner-up. The Fierry Pyrren secured third runner-up, while The Glaring Sundara finished fourth runner-up.

The mentioned events support Sustainable Development Goal 3 (Good Health and Well-Being) by promoting physical activity through sports and fitness competitions. It also contributes to SDG 4 (Quality Education) by providing opportunities for students to develop skills through academic, creative, and socio-cultural activities. The integration of the Kaibigan ng Kalikasan Program (KKP) also promotes SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production) through environmental practices and waste management. Meanwhile, the implementation of competition guidelines and fair play supports SDG 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions) by emphasizing integrity, respect, and accountability.

The court roared with energy as varsity players showcased tactical plays, intense serves, and tight defense, drawing cheers from fellow students and supporters in the bleachers.

Beyond the scoreboard, hosting and participating in an interschool tournament like this plays a pivotal role in the personal and athletic development of student varsity players. Competing under intense pressure allows student-athletes to sharpen critical life skills—building grit, communication, court intelligence, and sportsmanship.

For these young spikers, every rally is an opportunity to strengthen discipline and gain valuable experience that prepares them for higher-level athletic meets and academic opportunities.

The sporting event also highlights Sustainable Development Goal 3: Good Health and Well-Being by encouraging physical activity, promoting healthy lifestyles, and boosting the overall mental and physical wellness of youth in the division.

The Glaring Sundara Ambassador and The Ferocious Tropheon Ambassadress emerged victorious as they were officially crowned as the Basic Education School Ambassador and Ambassadress 2026. Securing the spot for first runner-up were The Glacial Frostveil Ambassador and Ambassadress, while The Ceaseless Aquariel Ambassador and Ambassadress finished as second runner-up.

Before reaching the coronation night, the candidates underwent various preliminary competitions that showcased their talent, advocacy, and communication skills. The award winners were also recognized during the event:

The audience filled the gymnasium with loud cheers as each representative gave compelling answers before the final announcement of winners.

More than just a beauty pageant, the Search for BESAA 2026 served as a meaningful platform for young Louisians to develop character, public speaking, and leadership qualities. Participating in the competition allowed candidates to step out of their comfort zones, gain self-confidence, and practice advocating for real-world solutions that affect their fellow students.

The Field Demonstration was one of the highlight presentations at the official opening of the BES Intramurals 2026. The festive presentation took place immediately following the Eucharistic Celebration, marking a vibrant transition from spiritual thanksgiving to the energetic kickoff of the annual school-based sports meet.

The synchronous field performances were made possible through dedicated practice sessions during the students’ regular MAPEH subject hours. Guided by their teachers, learners spent weeks honing their rhythm, coordination, and group formations in class, allowing them to showcase a well-orchestrated spectacle without compromising their core academic schedule.

As the field demonstration unfolded, hundreds of elementary pupils and JHS students took over the open grounds. Learners performed structured dance and rhythmic routines in sequence, moving to high-beat tracks and filling the open field with synchronized formations, lively props, and team spirit that drew warm applause from fellow Louisians, faculty, and school administrators.

Beyond the colorful display, the activity served as an essential platform for promoting physical wellness, active living, and confidence among young Louisians. The blessing ceremony was led by Rev. Fr. Macwayne N. Maniwang, CICM, Ph.D., University President, and Rev. Fr. John Mark D. Barroga, CICM, MATh-PM, Vice President for Mission and Identity/University Chaplain, and witnessed by members of the administration, faculty, staff, and students.

As the concessionaire of the new water refilling station, Flowlife Water Refilling Station will serve the drinking water needs of the Louisian community, supporting the university’s efforts to provide access to drinking water while reducing reliance on single-use plastic bottles.

This movement supports its institutional policy, “Bawal ang Plastic.” From this day forward, the university canteen will no longer sell bottled water. The administration has also prohibited bringing plastic bottled water onto campus and encourages the university community to bring reusable drinking containers as part of its efforts to reduce plastic waste.

Through this measure, USLT promotes responsible consumption and encourages Louisian students, faculty, and personnel to take part in protecting the environment through simple, everyday actions.

As a Louisian community, everyone is encouraged to embrace this change and make reusable containers a daily habit. Together, we can help build a cleaner, more sustainable, and environmentally responsible campus.

This initiative also supports Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 6: Clean Water and Sanitation by promoting access to drinking water on campus. It also advances SDG 12: Responsible Consumption and Production by encouraging the use of reusable containers and reducing plastic waste. Furthermore, this contributes to SDG 13: Climate Action by encouraging practices that help lessen the environmental impact of plastic waste. Through these efforts, USLT promotes responsible water consumption and environmental care within the Louisian community.

Among the highlights was SHAS Ambassadors and Ambassadresses 2026, which showcased the candidates’ confidence, talent, and stage presence. J-Peterson C. Soriano of The Serpents of Lantawan earned the title of SHAS Ambassador 2026, while Nikki Joy R. Pagalilauan of The Guardians of Sulaya was named SHAS Ambassadress 2026.

After days of competition, The Spirits of Ambagan emerged as the Overall Champion, followed by The Serpents of Lantawan as First Runner-Up and The Guardians of Sulaya as Second Runner-Up.

Beyond the competition, SHAS Week celebrated the talents, teamwork, and shared experiences that bring the SHAS community together. The celebration also supports Sustainable Development Goal 4: Quality Education by providing students with opportunities to develop leadership, creativity, collaboration, and other skills beyond the classroom.
