USL is now ISO-Certified

The University of Saint Louis has acquired ISO 9001:2015 Certification after passing the International Organization for Standardization audit.

NQA Philippines, a leading assessment, verification, and certification body, awarded the ISO 9001:2015 certification to USL in a ceremony held on September 8, 2022, at the USL Field.

The certification attests to the institution’s compliance with international standards in providing quality services to its clients and meeting the needs of its stakeholders.

In her opening message, Luisa B. Aquino, MSIT, EAP for Institutional Development and Quality Assurance, shared that the ISO standard is a strategic tool that draws on global expertise and experience and is a vital resource to achieving two of the university’s key strategic areas, namely, excellence and operational vitality.

“By integrating ISO Standards in crafting our policies and guidelines, our stakeholders, students, employees, and the general public are ensured of continuous improvement of our programs and services, ensured of your safety and protection, and ensured of our increased productivity and efficiency.”

According to the International Organization for Standardization, “ISO 9001:2015 specifies requirements for a quality management system focusing on an organization’s ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements; and to enhance customer satisfaction through the effective application of the system.”

The certificate was awarded by Mr. Ronald Matias of the BCJA Consultancy Firm and received by Rev. Fr. Renillo H. Sta Ana, University President, with the members of the Advisory Board, Extended Advisory Board, heads of offices, teaching and non-teaching personnel, and students and pupils of the institution in attendance.
