Consul Qiaoliang also mentioned the possibility of scouting for scholarships for Louisian faculty to learn Mandarin Chinese.

At the meeting, he gave the University a token and sets of books, digital video discs and compact discs about China for the USL Library. He said that he would add more similar materials later after knowing that USL has set up a Chinese Collection Area in its University Library.
